Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe
This warm apple-cinnamon oatmeal bowl is the perfect breakfast recipe for the cold mornings. With the goodness of oats and warm spicy notes of apple and cinnamon, it is delicious and nourishing!

porridge oats

water

almond milk*

cinnamon powder

pinch
salt

coconut sugar

apple
, half sliced and half chopped

almonds
, slivered
Instructions
In a deep pot, add porridge oats along with water, milk, salt, and cinnamon. Check out

.
Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5-6 minutes with occasional stirring.
Add the chopped apples and cook for another couple of minutes till the oatmeal is thick and creamy and the apples have slightly softened.
Remove in a serving bowl. Top with the remaining apple slices, slivered almonds, and coconut sugar.
Enjoy warm!
Notes
*I've added a little more almond milk in this recipe to make it a bit lighter in consistency than regular oatmeal.
